At the end of tabulation Tuesday night, November 3rd, it appeared four candidates were heading for a runoff in two local elections.

However, after confirming with the Secretary of State this morning, Livingston Parish Clerk of Court Jason Harris informed the News that the races are called and the Top-5 vote receivers are in for both the Town of Albany and the City of Denham Springs.

In Denham, after the final precicnt pushed 'Ray' Riley passed the runoff into a guaranteed seat, it appeared 'Bill' Lawson and Robert Poole were going to have to campaign until December 12. However, after confirming the Top-5 were in, Lawson will take the final seat with 1,547, just 7 more than Poole's 1,540.

Riley received 1,556 - 9 votes  over the runoff threshold.
