In a surprise announcement, District 4 Councilman John Wascom alluded to several new businesses possibly coming to Juban Crossing in the near future.
The statement came after the council unanimously voted to adopt a resolution to authorize a waiver of Section “125-7, “Building Lines” for Creekstone Juban 1, LLC located on Juban Crossing Boulevard in Council District 4. The waiver was to allow a variance in the setback lines for a development named on the plat map as "Juban Crossing Subdivision."
Councilman Wascom stated:
"Real quick. While we're on that, I know there's talking about some of the future businesses that are coming, just for good measure. I believe, if I'm not mistaken, Target, Burlington Coat Factory, like Celebration Station. Help me out, sporting goods. Okay? Well, I know there might be some that we're not supposed to talk about, but I'm just letting you know it's really an exciting time for Livingston Parish, especially Juban Crossing. So thank you all so much."
