WALKER, La. — A 39-year-old man has been arrested by the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office on multiple counts of indecent behavior with juveniles following a tip from both a concerned parent and the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office.

According to Sheriff Jason Ard, the LPSO Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force received a CyberTip from the office of Attorney General Liz Murrill on September 30, 2025. The report was accompanied by a local complaint alleging inappropriate interactions between an adult male and a juvenile child.

“Through our investigation, the male suspect was identified as 39-year-old Mark Howard of Walker, Louisiana,” Ard said in a statement. “Allegations involved Howard allowing a juvenile child to watch sexually explicit images and videos on Howard’s electronic device. Howard was present while these actions were taking place with the juvenile child.”

Detectives with the ICAC Task Force say they were able to obtain supporting evidence, leading to an arrest warrant. Howard was taken into custody and booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center.

He faces 12 counts of LRS 14:81 – Indecent Behavior with Juveniles.
