On July 10-12 at 59th Louisiana Girls' Junior Amateur Championship at Mallard Golf Course in Lake Charles, Walker High sophomore Evelyn Artieta finished with a 72, fellow golfer Jade Neves finished with a 69, earning Artieta second place overall.
