The Four Seasons Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday at the city parking lot at Hummel Street and Railroad Avenue in Denham Springs. Fresh vegetables and fruits are on sale from vendors.

Friday, April 24 at 10:00 a.m. – Free Garage Sale (Ages 18+)
In honor of Earth Day, the Library is hosting a free garage sale to extend the purpose of things shared, old and new. Please donate your gently used household decorations, cookware (no sharps), small furniture, toys, and electronics/re-usable parts by bringing them to the Albany-Springfield Branch from Monday, April 20 – Thursday, April 23. We cannot accept clothing, bedding, large furniture, open cosmetics, medical supplies, and hazardous or broken items. Please call the branch first to schedule a drop off time for larger items. Come to the Free Garage Sale and shop from the items donated to give them their next best life.
Saturday, April 25 at 10:00 a.m. – Puzzle Café (Ages 18+)
Join us for puzzles and refreshments at our Puzzle Café! The café opens at 10 a.m. and continues until 3 p.m. Feel free to come and go at your leisure and enjoy the company of fellow puzzle enthusiasts. You can even bring your own puzzles for our puzzle swap!

The ASB Book Club meets on the last Monday of the month from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., except for holidays. Titles are selected from member suggestions as well as librarian cultivation. Members are encouraged to read titles in the club that they might not normally pick up on their own, expanding their literary horizons.
