The Four Seasons Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday at the city parking lot at Hummel Street and Railroad Avenue in Denham Springs. Fresh vegetables and fruits are on sale from vendors.

The official tree lighting of the City of Denham Springs. Livingston Parish Children’s Choir starts the night off with the beautiful sounds of Christmas songs. The streets are full of local sponsors that are serving hot chocolate, a multitude of Christmas refreshments, a cookie decorating station and so much more. Join us as we enjoy great fellowship.

Carter House Christmas Open House | 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
The public is invited to Christmas Open House at the Historic Carter House on Sun., Dec. 14, 2025 from 1:30 PM-4:30 PM. It is hosted by members of the Historic Carter House Society Inc. (HCHS), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Tours with some history of the house will be given. Santa Clause will be there to see the children and you are invited to take pictures. Tickets sold at the door cost $5.00 for adults, with children under the age of 12 and HCHS members admitted free. All proceeds go toward restoration work to the Carter House. Refreshments will be served and we’ll have stocking stuffers/gifts for sale!
Christmas Alive – Train Station Park, Denham Springs | 6:00 PM
A beautiful Live Nativity that tells the story of Jesus birth. SADD students puts on this amazing night of live animals and the reason for the season. The children of the parish work hard to make this a breathtaking event. Sponsors will have refreshments and some chairs will be provided. Please bring your own just in case they are gone when you arrive.

Grinchmas in the Village | 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Range Avenue in the Antique Village. Enjoy a great day of shopping in the village. This is the second year of this event and it has grown tremendously. Start at Heritage House Antiques and register for the Jingle Bell event and drop your tickets in the bowls at participating stores, for a drawing for DSAMA gift certificates. Join the Grinch costume contest at MT Lockers from 5:00-6:00 pm. We would love to see you in your favorite Grinch character contest as you shop, or your favorite Christmas character would work too! Bring the kids shopping, enjoy free refreshments and oh so much fun and see if you can find the Grinch for the kids to take pictures with. Enjoy the decorations at Driggers Park that was adopted by JW Florist & Designs. Great place to take pictures with your little Grinch’s. Free refreshments and a good wholesome day of FUN!

Start a “threadition” for your family by learning to sew and embroider by hand. Learn some of the stitches and techniques that your grandmothers used to make and decorate useful items like clothes, quilts, and pillowcases. This year-long series will teach the basics of hand applique, hand piecing and hand quilting, as well as hand embroidery through the medium of creating a slow stitch journal - one fabric page for every month of the year.
