Melissa Louque, the wife of Denham Springs resident Ricky Foster, has been arrested and charged with one count of crimes against nature in connection with the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office investigation that led to her husband's arrest earlier this month, Sheriff Jason Ard announced Thursday.
Louque was being processed into the Livingston Parish Detention Center as of Thursday's announcement.
The arrest follows additional charges filed against Foster on Wednesday. Foster, 46, now also faces one count of human trafficking and one count of crimes against nature, on top of the 24 counts he was originally booked on April 1. Those original charges include 10 counts of third-degree rape, 10 counts of extortion, and four counts of sexual battery. He remains in the Livingston Parish Detention Center.
Foster has also been the subject of "Devil Wears Dunks," a YouTube true crime series that has covered numerous Livingston Parish cases.
Sheriff Ard has said investigators believe additional victims may exist. Anyone with information is asked to call LPSO at 225-686-2241, ext. 1, or submit a tip through the LPSO app. The investigation is ongoing.
