About the Amite River Basin Master Plan
Developed through months of research, planning, and community input, the
Master Plan presents a bold vision to reduce flood risk, protect homes, and
preserve the natural beauty of the Basin. These public meetings are just one of the
many opportunities to see the finished product, understand how it will impact
communities, ask questions, offer ideas, and get involved in what comes next.
