The 2nd Annual ATA Foundation Inclusive Truck-or-Treat could be described as nothing less than a success. Several hundred parents and children lined Aspen Square Drive to take a walk through dozens of booths that had characters ranging from custom creations to all-time favorites like Disney characters.
ATA Foundation Paije Lopez was overwhelmed by the support, moving the second occasion from Central to Denham Springs. The ATA Foundation focuses on offering events for special needs children and families so that everyone can feel included, especially during the holidays.
"Seeing our community come together so families of all abilities could have fun, feel included, and simply enjoy the day is exactly what The ATA Lopez Foundation stands for," Lopez said. "I am still trying to process it all, and I am rarely left this speechless!"
